The Chilean Association of Translators and Interpreters, COTICH (formerly AGTS) is a legally established Chilean non-governmental organization and is a member of the Fédération Internationale des Traducteurs, FIT.

It was founded in 1991 to protect the interests and regulate the practice of the translating profession, promote the advancement of its members, and contribute effectively to Chile’s economic, cultural and social development.

Its members are bound by a strict code of professional ethics designed to ensure optimal standards of integrity, efficiency, and confidentiality .
