Michelle was born in Washington, D.C., and in her early years she lived in Switzerland, El Salvador, Peru and later returned to the Washington Metropolitan area where she continued her studies. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in English from George Mason University, VA, USA, a Master’s of Education from Marymount University, VA, USA, and her interpretation certification from EATRI Language Institute in Santiago, Chile. Michelle has been working as an interpreter, translator, and editor for the past 10 years in diverse areas such as: mining, corporate governance, international affairs, environment, education, business, medicine, IT, retail and logistics, amongst others. Has experience working at mine sites, and translated a coffee-table photojournalism book sold globally.
